Camera Resolutions

These images are from 4 different IP cameras with the same lens configuration.  The top left is a 2 megapixel camera equivalent to a standard High Def television  (1080P).  The top right is double the resolution. The Bottom left is triple the standard HD resolution, and the bottom right is 4 times or 4K resolution.  One thing to keep in mind is the output resolution of the display was set to 1080P.

Here the same image is used to zoom in on a specific area of the picture.  The higher resolutions might not have been as noticeable in the wide area view above.  Below it is becoming clearer how higher resolution cameras can be beneficial.
